18" (46 cm.) Bisque shoulder head with blonde sculpted hair arranged with tiered rolled horizontal curls down the back of head and vertical rolled curls at the sides, a wide blue hair ribbon at the crown, painted facial features, pierced ears, unusual firmly-stuffed coarse twill body with wooden limbs, painted flat blue shoes. Condition: generally excellent, tiny chip at bottom corner of front shoulder plate. Comments: Germany, circa 1875, note the blue eyes and hair band color that matches exactly, the doll wears a fine antique brown and black silk fashion gown, undergarments.
