Description
9" (23 cm.) Porcelain shoulder head with black sculpted hair, painted facial features, muslin body, bisque lower limbs. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: A & G.E. Grace, High St. House Guernsey (paper label on back of skirt). Comments: Germany, circa 1890, the English milk maid wears her original labeled costume, carries a tin bucket, her knitting, and owns four antique woven baskets in delightful miniscule patterns.
