14" (36 cm.) All cloth doll has pressed and oil painted facial features and softly shaded brown hair, painted brown eyes and shaded eye liner, closed mouth with pouty expression, muslin body with separately stitched thumbs, disc-jointed legs, stitch-jointed arms, nicely costumed in cotton striped dress, dotted Swiss pinafore, Dutch style cap, one piece undergarment, stockings, flannel slippers. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: Kathe Kruse (feet). Comments: Kathe Kruse, circa 1925, a rare model with very expressive features enhanced by fine original patina.
