Description
4" (10 cm.) An all-wooden doll with black painted hair having curl above each ear, paint-over-gesso complexion with painted facial features, blushed cheeks, dowel-jointed wooden arms and legs, painted flat shoes, antique muslin shirt. Condition: generally excellent, some minor craquelure on forehead. Comments; Grodnertal, circa 1850, the well-preserved little doll is resting in an early hooded walnut cradle.
