15" (38 cm.) Porcelain shoulder head with black sculpted hair waved behind the modeled and pierced ears into chignon at back of head with curls tumbling onto the neck back, sculpted bangs, painted facial features, muslin stitch-jointed body, porcelain hands. Condition: generally excellent, finger tips on right hand chipped. Comments: Germany, circa 1885, the doll is wearing her authentic and well-detailed Danish folklore costume with embroidery and elaborate red wooden trimmed coiffe.
