Description
15" (38 cm.) Thick paste hand-pressed porcelain with tinted complexion portrays a full-faced woman with strong throat, sculpted black hair in uniform finger curls, painted facial features, pale blue upper glancing eyes, early leather body, bisque lower arms. Condition: generally excellent, few paint rubs at back of hair, body of later era but appropriately sized. Comments: Germany, circa 1860,the doll wears a fine early sheer muslin rose gown, undergarments, leather boots.
