18" (46 cm.) Bisque shoulder head of adult woman with delicately tinted complexion, brown sculpted hair in elaborate coiffure with braid across the forehead decorated with Dresden rose and leaves, looped braids behind and below the ears with cascading finger curls, very fancy glazed Dresden ribbon-shaped ruffled and decorated collar, pierced ears, painted facial features, blue eyes, muslin stitch-jointed body, bisque forearms, antique costume. Condition: generally excellent, some chipping of rose and leaf petals. Comments: Germany, circa 1870, very rare and intricately sculpted lady doll.
