28" (71 cm.) Solid domed bisque socket head, painted blonde boyish hair with modeled detail of forelock, blue glass sleep eyes, painted lashes, short brushstroked brows, accented nostrils, open mouth, two porcelain upper teeth, composition and wooden ball-jointed body. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: K&R Simon & Halbig 127 56. Comments: Kammer and Reinhardt, circa 1915. Value Points: especially fine modeling of hair with enhancing decorative glaze, original body and body finish, wonderful gentleman's costume including over-sized velvet polka dot tie and watch on fob.
