Description
7" (18 cm.) 7"w. x 3"h. x 5"d. A wooden trunk with stencil-design paper lithography cover and wooden slat trim, opens to striped paper lining, and lift-out trunk. Stored inside the trunk is a miniature 4"l. wooden stable with painted detail, two large trees, a large number of fence partitions, two lamp posts, a large tree stand, 13 people each with painted costumes including one man on horseback, flower baskets and little shrubs, and more than 35 different wooden farm animals including cows, horses, lambs, goats, dog, and pigs. Excellent unplayed with condition with original painted finishes wonderfully preserved. Circa 1900.
