Description
14" (36 cm.) Wax over paper mache shoulder head of adult woman with sculpted green bonnet over fleecy mohair curls, black enamel eyes, painted facial features, muslin body, wooden lower limbs. Condition: very good, some typical wax fading. Comments: Germany, circa 1875, the doll wears her original white dotted Swiss gown trimmed with silver beads, a pearl cluster, silk flower and feathers in hat, and fancy sash, undergarments.
