Description
5" (13 cm.) x 7" x 8"h. Of heavy tin metal with brown finish and gilt lettered name "Baby", the gramophone features felt-covered turntable, brake and speed control, and wooden handgrip crank at the side. Functions well although typical tinny sound. American, Garford Mfg. Co. of Elyria, Ohio. Along with a wooden storage box with hinged lid and musical-theme design on the front, containing 25 vintage Little Wonder records, each with original paper or incised labels. The recordings play on this machine, but were actually intended for an adult audience, including such tunes as "It's a Long Long Way to Tipperary", "Where the Red, Red Roses Grow", and more.
