Description
10" (25 cm.) 10" x 10" x 8". Dolls 3 1/2" . A white-painted tin frame roof and trellis is attached to a lithographed tin base painted to resemble a grassy ground. The trellis and roof are decorated with faux-flowers and leaves, and arranged within the setting are original green tin chairs, long bench, green table and flower pot. Seated on the chairs as though enjoying nature are three all-bisque dolls, one with glass eyes, with mohair wigs, jointed limbs, antique costumes. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: Germany, circa 1910, a rare and wonderfully preserved doll house garden accessory or showcase for miniature dolls.
