5" (13 cm.) Porcelain shoulder head with short black painted boyish hair, stippling detail around the face, painted facial features, wooden body with shaped torso, dowel jointing at shoulders, elbows, hips and knees, porcelain lower arms and legs, painted orange shoes. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: Germany, circa 1850, the doll wears his original black velvet suit with shirt and tie.
