Description
4" (10 cm.) 4" ivory yarn winder. Carved ivory or bone yarn winder with elaborate detail is designed for screw-on firm attachment to a table or flat surface while the spinning cage below remains in motion. Along with a 2" bone-handled brass magnifying glass with excellent quality glass, and a miniature ABC book with various alphabet styles, dated 1849. Excellent condition. Mid-19th century.
