Description
7" (18 cm.) Bisque shoulder head with slender facial modeling and elongated throat, blonde sculpted hair drawn away from face and captured under a painted blue snood with mauve and white lustre tassels and feathers, painted facial features, muslin body, bisque limbs, antique costume comprising hand-stitched gown and undergarments appear to be original. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: Germany, circa 1870, the rare model has exquisitely executed painting and modeling, very expressive features.
