Description
21" (53 cm.) Thick paste pressed porcelain shoulder head with plump modeling and endearing smile, black sculpted hair in center part with short finger curls, painted facial features, deeply set eye sockets, muslin stitch-jointed body, leather arms, antique costume. Condition: back left corner of shoulder plate missing 1" piece, paint rubs on cheeks and hair. Comments: Germany, circa 1860, the doll has most endearing expression, and was highly featured in many of the Legoland Museum brochures.
