Description
8" (20 cm.) A wooden framed gazebo with arched entrance doorway decorated with garlands of Spring flowers is enhanced with two German all-bisque dolls, each with swivel head, glass eyes, closed mouth, mohair wig, jointed limbs with painted stockings and shoes, and factory original knit costumes. Marks: 31 10 (dolls). Condition: gazebo excellent, brunette excellent, blonde has hairline and restoration to right foot. Comments: probably Paul Hunger, Germany, circa 1913, see Cieslik's Lexicon des Puppenstuben under Puppenhauser (page 105), a most appealing dollhouse accessory, also included is additional fencing of a similar style.
