The exterior is painted faux-red-brick on all four sides with a green opening arched front door above wooden steps. There are 12 curtained windows, and interior doors opening into each room. The low-sloped roof has painted green shingles with a fancily carved roof edging with stenciled border, and two carved chimneys. There are five interior rooms, each with old (but possibly not original) wall papers (the kitchen with Dutch tile paper) and painted floors. Furnishings include a fine maple parlor set with three Gothic style chairs and a massive sofa, each with luxurious maroon velvet upholstery and fringe, each signed H.P. Jensen; along with marble-top hall mirror, marble top chest, maple table, hanging corner cupboard with fretwork carving, tall statue pedestal, maple tavern table, three Gothic maple chairs with pressed woven seats, maple buffet with pressed carving (signed, illegible),painted white single bed, night table. Accessories include bisque white bust, soft metal birdcage, and fernery, needlework carpet, alarm clock, ormolu framed lithograph, tiny woven cradle with doll, and various china, glassware, and tableware.
