25" (64 cm.) Pale bisque shoulder head of adult woman with black sculpted hair in very ornate fashion with rows and rows of arranged horizontal curls, sculpted blue hair band with gilt edging, painted facial features, pierced ears, blue painted necklace with outlined brooch having applied paper lithograph, muslin feedsack body, muslin limbs, antique costume. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: Germany, circa 1870, the actual doll is shown in German Doll Encyclopedia by Cieslik, page 234, identified as a portrait model of the French Empress Eugenie.
