2.5" (6 cm.) Two needlework furniture pieces, each of wood with lithographed paper finish to simulate mahogany finish with stenciled gilt designs, commonly known as Biedermeier, includes a sewing table with fitted interior under the lift-up top (no contents) and unusual padded cushion on the under support; along with a very rare tapestry frame with original faux-tapestry and underside with fitted niches for various yarns. Very good condition, tip chipped on one foot of sewing table. Germany, likely Wagner & Sohn, circa 1875.
