10" (25 cm.) Pale bisque shoulder head with blonde sculpted hair captured under a magenta painted snood with decorative blue bows at the side, and topped with a black toque hat decorated with a mauve/white large sculpted plume, painted facial features, leather body, wearing antique gown and undergarments. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: Germany, circa 1870, exceptionally rare model with exquisite detail of painting of expressive facial features, fancy bonnet and snood.
