10" (25 cm.) Wax over paper mache shoulder head with blonde sculpted hair waved away from face and captured by wide black hair band, black glass inset eyes, painted facial features, muslin body, wooden lower limbs, painted black flat boots. Condition: very good, typical craze lines at top of head. Comments: Germany, circa 1875, the appealing petite doll has original finish, original body, and wears a finely detailed simple antique costume with beautifully detailed multi-layered undergarments.
