Two Rare German Wooden-Bodied Porcelain Dolls

6" (15 cm.) Each has thick paste pressed porcelain shoulder head with black sculpted hair deeply looped around the face and softly pulled into chignon at back of head (one with exposed ears), painted facial features, wooden body with shapely waist, dowel-jointing at shoulders, elbows, hips, and knees, porcelain lower limbs, painted flat orange shoes, each with original antique undergarments. Condition: one with hairline on shoulder plate, the other with reglue at right ankle. Comments: Germany, circa 1850, the rare pair includes one with extremely rare brown eyes.
