3" (8 cm.) All-wooden doll with painted black hair and facial features, paint-over-gesso complexion, very elongated throat, fully jointed wooden body, wearing antique costume. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: Grodnertal, circa 1840, included is a tiny 1 1/4" Grodnertal doll with painted tuck comb and fully jointed body, posed on a mauve velvet cushion.
