All latex composition with socket head portraying a young baby, blue painted eyes, black and red upper eyeliner, closed mouth modeled as though open, wispy tendrils of blonde hair, five piece baby body, wearing artist-made white batiste cotton baby dress, slip, handknit pink sweater. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: DC (head). Comments: Dewees Cochran, 1858. Value Points: included with the well sculpted baby is an invoice from the artist dated 1958 and indicating a price of $35, and a personal note from the artist to the new owner.
