Composition socket head, brown painted eyes, lightly fringed brows and lashes, accented nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth with wide center accent line, brunette human hair wig, composition five piece body, nicely costumed in cotton print dress and shorts, shoes and socks. Condition: generally excellent, wig not original, some professional paint restoration on head. Marks: Effanbee American Children (head) Effanbee Anne-Shirley (torso). Comments: Effanbee, circa 1940. Value Points: especially pretty example of the classic American child of the 1940 era.
