Composition socket head, painted facial features, painted brown eyes, lightly fringed lashes, eye-liner, brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth with painted wide accent line between the lips, auburn human hair, composition five piece jointed body, nicely costumed. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: Effanbee American Children (head) Effanbee Anne-Shirley (torso). Comments: Effanbee, circa 1940. Value Points: beautifully painted features with fine original patina.
