Composition socket head, painted facial features, brown painted eyes, painted lashes and feathered brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth with slight smile, brunette human hair wig, composition five piece body. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: Effanbee American Children. Comments: designed by Dewees Cochran for Effanbee, circa 1940. Value Points: the doll wears her original blue serge riding costume with jodhpurs, jacket, green shirt, felt cap with green ribbons, (original very worn shoes included).
