Composition socket head, brown sleep eyes, real lashes, painted blue eye liner, blue eye shadow on eye lids, long curly upper lashes, closed mouth with rosebud-shaped lips, brunette mohair wig in original elaborate coiffure, five piece composition with elongated adult limbs. Condition: generally excellent, one deep craze behind right ear slightly into lower cheek. Marks: Madame Alexander New York, USA (pantalets). Comments: Alexander, circa 1935, from a rare series of portrait models. Value Points: the sophisticated lady wears her fine original peach taffeta gown with black lace trim, petticoat, pantalets, stockings, shoes, black fingerless gloves, earrings and elaborate rose- adorned bonnet.
