Description
4.5" (11 cm.) (Box 8" x 8"). A cardboard box with window display lid edged in gilded paper trim contains a small bisque doll with socket head, bright blue glass sleep eyes, painted lashes and brows, blonde mohair wig, five piece paper mache body, painted black stockings and shoes, and wearing original white dress with lace trim and matching bonnet. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 12/0. Comments: for the French market, circa 1900. Value Points: the doll has additional clothing and accessory items including bonnet, jacket, bib, handkerchief, and the entire presentation is in mint unplayed with condition.
