Description
11" (28 cm.) Paper mache piglet with soft pink kid coat has hinging at neck and legs, brown glass eyes, painted feet, and deep pink painted ears and nose, curly tail. A mechanism inside the torso can be keywound, causing the piglet to move along in a jolly manner, turning head from side to side and making realistic "oink" sound. Condition: generally excellent, mechanism functions well. Comments: Roullet et Decamps, from their series of mechanical animals, circa 1900. Value Points: wonderfully preserved mechanical toy with amusing action and sound.
