Description
7" (18 cm.) (10" overall including hat). The all- felt whimsical figure has golden brown felt complexion with mythical large pointed ears, painted brown side-glancing eyes, wide beaming smile with painted teeth, and is posed with firmly stuffed body, chubby torso, arms bent at elbows with intertwined clasped fingers. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: Lenci, Made in Italy (paper label under collar). Comments: Lenci, circa 1930. Value Points: the whimsical elfin figure has delightful design incorporating imaginative pose, and well-preserved colorful costume including wide-brimmed felt hat with four- leaf clover trim.
