Bisque socket head, dark blue glass sleep eyes that operate from a wire lever at the back of the head, painted lashes, rose blushed eye shadow, fringed brows, accented eye corners, shaded nostrils, open mouth, shaded and accented lips, double row of tiny teeth, pierced ears, blonde mohair wig over Steiner pate, French composition fully-jointed body, lovely antique dress, undergarments, shoes. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: Sie C 5 J. Steiner BSGDG, J. Bourgoin Succ. (head) Steiner 5 Bte SGDG (eyes) (faint Steiner stamp on body). Comments: Steiner, circa 1885. Value Points: rare model with very beautiful bisque, original body and body finish, working pull-string mama crier, original signed Steiner eyes.
