Bisque socket head, brown glass paperweight inset eyes, long painted lashes, feathered brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth with accented lips, pierced ears, brunette mohair wig over cork pate, French composition and wooden fully-jointed body with straight wrists, nicely costumed in bronze silk dress with lace trim, bonnet, antique undergarments and shoes. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: Depose Tete Jumeau Bte SGDG 8 (head) Jumeau Medaille d'Or Paris (body). Comments: Emile Jumeau, circa 1888. Value Points: deep brown eyes contrast the rich complexion of the classic French beauty, original body and body finish.
