Description
7" (18 cm.) One piece all-bisque figure of seated young child, its arms lifted in the air as though to say "how big I am", with slightly bent knees, curled toes, brown sculpted baby hair with curly details, blue intaglio side-glancing eyes, smiling expression on closed mouth, wearing sculpted white baby smock with ruffled collar and polka dot design. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: Heubach (sunburst mark). Comments: Gebruder Heubach, circa 1910. Value Points: realistic depiction of classic childhood motion, with excellent sculpting and painting.
