Description
11" (27 cm.) Bisque socket head with delicate bisque, blue glass sleep eyes, painted lower lashes, mohair lashes, feathered brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, open mouth, teeth, brunette human hair, French composition and wooden fully-jointed body. Condition: generally excellent, left middle finger broken. Marks: 2 SFBJ 60 Paris 8/0 (head). Comments: Bleuette, circa 1922, although the body is unsigned it appears original. Value Points: especially pretty quality of bisque on the popular doll, wearing an original Petit Bob ensemble coat and cloche.
