16" (41 cm.) (17"h. x 16" l.) An iron bed with arched high head board and matching lower footboard has faux-wood grained finish, pencil striping and is decorated with painted scene of cherub with garlands of flowers at the head, and a country scene on at the footboard, original tufted thick mattress with bed cover. Excellent condition, original painting, few typical rubs. French, circa 1860, a rare model with beautifully painted decorations.
