Description
8" (20 cm.) One piece all-bisque figure of naked young child in seated position with knees bent and leaning forward to rest on wrists of hands with curled fingers; the child's head is turned to the right and upward with long sculpted blonde hair tumbling onto its shoulders, intaglio side- glancing blue eyes, closed mouth with smile, dimpled cheeks, well defined fingers and toes. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: Heubach (sunburst mark) 6 1/2. Comments: Gebruder Heubach, circa 1910. Value Points: wonderful model with excellent detail of facial and hair sculpting.
