6.5" (17 cm.) One piece all-bisque figure of shy young girl in seated pose, her head tilted to the side, her ankles and wrists crossed, with long blonde sculpted curls tumbling onto her shoulders, intaglio blue eyes, closed mouth in smiling pose with painted teeth, wearing a sculpted costume with wide brimmed sunbonnet, pleated summer dress with ruffled collar and polka dots, and green shoes. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: Heubach (sunburst mark) 3143 2 1/2. Comments: Gebruder Heubach, circa 1910. Value Points: the realistic pose of the shy young girl enhances the artfully sculpted facial features.
