(15" x 12" box) A wooden box is covered with red paper and decorated with gilt lettering "Grand Loterie" along with an engraving of children playing; it hinges open to reveal its well-fitted contents that have never been removed, including a colorful roulette wheel, playing sticks, and 23 miniature toy "prizes" including porcelain milk bucket ("lait pur", glass slipper, glass blown vase, wooden shoes, shell purse, and more. Excellent condition. French, circa 1885, a fine deluxe edition of the popular French parlor toy.
