Description
13" (33 cm.) One piece all-bisque figure of young girl in standing position, as though she has just arisen from the "wicker" bisque chair in which she has been napping, her head and arms leaning backward as though stretching, with sculpted brown curly tousled hair, intaglio downward glancing eyes, closed mouth, painted teeth, painted white smock and one bootie with beaded trim. Condition: generally excellent, small professional repair on one chair corner and right baby finger is virtually imperceptible. Marks: Heubach (sunburst mark). Comments: Gebruder Heubach, circa 1910. Value Points: rare model with delightful pose, wonderful detail of sculpting.
