Description
12" (30 cm.) Waist-up porcelain figure of adult nude lady with amply modeled bosom, arms modeled extended from body with open hands, head inclined sideways and leaning downward, elaborately sculpted grey hair in loosely coiled topknot with tumbling ringlet curls and held by mauve hair ribbon, painted facial features with slightly smiling expression. The doll is attached to its original wire-armature skirt frame with padded underskirt and original silk and lace over-skirt. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: Germany, circa 1910. Value Points: exquisite delicacy of the rare figure with superb coiffure, extended arms, original tea cozy and skirt.
