12" (30 cm.) Golden mohair teddy with upturned snout has black shoe-button eyes, black embroidered nose and mouth, red felt bellhop cap set jauntily on side of head, sewn-on red felt bellhop jacket with jointed arms, mohair and muslin paws, black felt trousers with jointed hips, over-sized mohair feet with muslin soles, embroidered claws. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: Schuco, the "yes-no" Bellhop Bear has mechanism in tail the causes him to nod head up and down or side to side, circa 1935. Value Points: fine original condition of the rare model bear with vibrant colors and well-functioning movement.
