Thick paste pink tinted porcelain shoulder head of adult lady with oval-shaped face and very elongated throat, black sculpted hair drawn away from face in loosely formed rolls and captured in braided chignon at the back of the head with colorful morning glory flowers decorating each side of the hair just above the sculpted ears, loose curls tumble onto the back shoulders, painted blue upper glancing eyes, red and black eye liner, one stroke painted brows, aquiline nose, accented nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth with center accent line, old muslin stitch-jointed body, porcelain lower arms, wearing aqua silk gown, undergarments, boots. Condition: generally excellent, few paint rubs on chignon at back of head. Comments: attributed to Schlaggenwald, circa 1850. Value Points: rare doll in very appealing size has superb modelling with regal stature, lovely tinted complexion, rare coiffure.
