17" (43 cm.) Bisque socket head, large brown glass paperweight inset eyes with so-called "wrap-around" eyes, dark eyeliner, painted lashes, mauve blushed eye shadow, feathered brows, shaded nostrils, closed mouth with outlined lips, pierced ears, blonde mohair wig over cork pate, French all-wooden body with eight-loose-ball-joints, straight wrists. Condition: crack extends down forehead in circular fashion, left front foot broken off. Marks: 1 (head) Jumeau Medaille d'Or Paris (body). Comments: Jumeau, circa 1878. Value Points: gorgeous early portrait face with beautiful painting, rare body.
