17" (43 cm.) Bisque socket head, blue glass sleep eyes, painted lashes, short feathered brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, open mouth, shaded and accented lips, two porcelain upper teeth, tongue, blonde mohair wig over plaster pate, composition bent limb baby body, antique baby dress with embroidered detail. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: K made in Germany 14 247 JDK. Comments: Kestner, circa 1912. Value Points: very pretty wide-eyed character with fine quality of bisque and painting, original body and body finish.
