18" (46 cm.) Bisque shoulderhead depicting a young girl, with blonde sculpted hair in short pageboy style with forehead bangs, blue glass inset eyes, painted lashes, feathered brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth with center accent line, original muslin body with stitch-jointing, bisque lower arms with curled fingers, wearing original dress of black velvet and brown wool, undergarments, stockings, leather boots. Condition: generally excellent, small chip on tip of right ring finger. Marks: 154 6. Comments: Kling, circa 1885. Value Points: very beautiful doll with rare glass eyes, serene expression enhanced by delicate complexion.
