Description
9" (23 cm.) Felt swivel head with pressed and painted facial features, "O" shaped brown eyes, painted lashes and brows, button-shaped nose, "O" shaped mouth, light auburn mohair wig in original style with topknot braid and two side braids, muslin torso and legs, felt jointed arms. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: (two original Lenci tags on costume). Comments: Lenci, from its miniature series, circa 1935. Value Points: the amusing wide-eyed child wears well-preserved original felt dress with red applique, apron, muslin slip and pantalets trimmed with red rick-rack, red felt shoes, and carries a wooden-handled straw broom.
