14" (36 cm.) Felt swivel head with pressed and painted facial features, brown side-glancing eyes, painted grey eye shadow, brown lashes, closed mouth with rosebud-shaped lips, blushed cheeks, short black mohair wig, muslin torso and legs, felt jointed arms. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: (two original Lenci tags). Comments: Lenci, circa 1930. Value Points: the wide-eyed Lenci boy wears perfectly preserved original folklore costume in vibrant felt colors including appliques and embroidery, with flower-trimmed hat, and is its original labeled box.
