All cloth doll with pressed and oil- painted facial features and hair, delicately tinted brown hair with tendrils of curls onto the forehead, green/brown eyes with detailed spiral threading, brown eye shadow, black upper eye liner, closed mouth with pouty-shaped lips, stitch-jointed shoulders, separately stitched thumbs, disc-jointed very plump legs. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: Made in Germany (right foot) Kathe Kruse 33951 (left foot). Comments: Kathe Kruse, circa 1915. Value Points: pristine condition of the wonderfully characterized doll, her fine oil painted features perfectly preserved with lustrous patina, original Dutch girl costume comprising checkered dress, apron, undergarments, cap, wooden shoes and socks.
